Description
Leonid I. Vidrak is an artist based in the United States New York City metropolitan area, whose paintings have been exhibited in the USA, Italy, Russia, and France. He cites harmony and consonance as the life force behind his work. Artist’s vibrant compositions explore the meaning of life for all creatures through the themes of equality, connection, and purpose. The interplay of color and light is critical to his process. He creates using oils, tempera, watercolors, and ink on canvas or paper.
Works are held in public and private collections in the United States, Israel, Russia, and Europe. Educated in Russia’s School of Fine Arts and Academy of Arts and Architecture.
Latest exhibitions and events include participation in X Florence Biennale 2015; publishing in Art-Tour International; works for VIDA Collection; participation in ArtExpo 2016 Milano; Paris – Carrousel du Louvre 2017; XII Florence Biennale 2019; Magix Group Exhibition, Exhibizone, Canada, Oct 1 – 31, 2022; Shapes and Colors, Group Exhibition, 01-Mar-2023 To 31-Mar-2023, Gallerium, Biafarin Exhibition, ARTBOXY digital presentation at ArtExpo Basel 2023, Finity Gallery, Berlin 2023, Case del Arte, Palma/Spain 2023, Exhibition at Jersey City JCAST.
Series: “Juderia of Seville.”
These 9 oil paintings and 12 oil monotypes were inspired by a trip to Seville, Spain. I was particularly taken by the scent of life encountered in the Juderia Quarter of Seville, after which I named this series.

We want you to enjoy your new art, so if a piece doesn't quite work in your space, return it within seven days of receiving your order, and we'll issue you a refund for the price of the art. Art must be returned in its original packaging with the certification of authenticity. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and any customs and brokerage fees charged upon return. At this time, there are no returns on special orders or artwork altered at the customer's request. Before returning the artwork, you must contact us by email to mail@israeliartmarket.com.- From the time you receive your original artwork from the shipper, you have seven days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition and packaging to receive a refund.
- We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within three days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive artwork you've purchased from the Israeli Art Market and are not fully satisfied, you have:
- Seven days to contact us about your intent to return the work
