Description
Julian TIGLAT was born in Ukraine in 1952 and immigrated with his family to Israel in 1957. Studied jewelry design at the Bezalel Academy, which he completed with honors. Then he continued as an apprentice in the well-known studio of Andrew Grima in London; at that time, he exhibited his work at the Electrum and Argentum galleries in London. Upon returning to Israel, he settled and set his workshop in Ein -Hod village of artists to develop his personal designs. Julian has taught jewelry in Tel-Aviv and Haifa; his creativity and style are well recognized throughout Israel. While living in Israel, his 22k collection was on permanent display at the best shops in Israel. Since 2006 Julian is living in Costa Rica and continues what he started in Israel: the shift to art.
“I must admit that I have very little inspiration in modern art; I have much more in the ancient world. I found after many years as a jewelry designer that I cannot express myself enough, yet I love the work with precious metals and stone; it was a long journey since I am not a natural painter, but the desire drove me to find my way of expression, just as I did in jewelry. These works are what I think and what I feel, using and applying the techniques and skills that I did in jewelry making.”

Returns and Exchanges
We want you to enjoy your new art, so if a piece doesn't quite work in your space, return it within seven days of receiving your order, and we'll issue you a refund for the price of the art. Art must be returned in its original packaging with the certification of authenticity. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and any customs and brokerage fees charged upon return. At this time, there are no returns on special orders or artwork altered at the customer's request. Before returning the artwork, you must contact us by email to mail@israeliartmarket.com.- From the time you receive your original artwork from the shipper, you have seven days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition and packaging to receive a refund.
- We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within three days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive artwork you've purchased from the Israeli Art Market and are not fully satisfied, you have:
- Seven days to contact us about your intent to return the work
- Three days from the day you contacted us to ship out the artwork
