Description
Irsan Gregoire is a French artist born in Dominica in 1990.
From a young age, he discovered a passion for drawing through comic books and cartoons. He would often copy illustrations of his favorite superheroes.
At the age of eight, Irsan met an artist, who was also an art teacher, who saw natural talent and great potential in him. She offered to give him drawing and painting lessons for free since his parents could not afford them. These sessions introduced him to live portraiture, nude studies, and techniques such as the grid method for proportion.
In his teenage years, with a preference for drawing over painting, Irsan started to develop an interest in colorful caricatures but later gave it up. He wanted to represent his models in a flattering way. After coming across hyper-realistic artworks in late 2011, he finally realized what he was meant to do and decided to drop out of college.
His art is composed of portraits, figures, and still life, all done using graphite and charcoal pencils. He aims to communicate emotions on a deep level by spending hundreds of hours capturing his subjects’ moods, expressions, and likeness with them.
Over the years, the search for perfection has become an obsession to the point of causing mental illness. But drawing has been a gift as much as it’s been a curse.
Formerly represented by the now-closed art gallery Seine 51 in Paris, France, Irsan is currently looking for a new gallery.

Returns and Exchanges
We want you to enjoy your new art, so if a piece doesn't quite work in your space, return it within seven days of receiving your order, and we'll issue you a refund for the price of the art. Art must be returned in its original packaging with the certification of authenticity. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and any customs and brokerage fees charged upon return. At this time, there are no returns on special orders or artwork altered at the customer's request. Before returning the artwork, you must contact us by email to mail@israeliartmarket.com.- From the time you receive your original artwork from the shipper, you have seven days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition and packaging to receive a refund.
- We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within three days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive artwork you've purchased from the Israeli Art Market and are not fully satisfied, you have:
- Seven days to contact us about your intent to return the work
- Three days from the day you contacted us to ship out the artwork

The Star of David, Magen David, on the mezuzah front, is a clear Jewish and Israeli symbol that reflects a rich tradition. The design, made of gold plated brass, reflects a modern and contemporary style that combines curved lines in a natural flow with a smooth, shiny finish creating a unique Star of David shape.
The base of the mezuzah is made of casting concrete from natural stone using unique hand-crafted processing techniques and natural pigments, making it a one-of-a-kind work of Art.
