Shmuel (Sam) Meishar
Born in Haifa, Israel.
Meishar holds professionals titles in Chemical Engineering and Business.
Graduate of the Bat Yam Art Institute, accredited by the Israeli Painters and Sculptures Association, in 1979.
“Since 1984, besides creating paintings, I concentrate on designing jewelry, area rugs, and tapestries. This work included the development of new production and manufacturing techniques”.
Since 1990 lives and works in the USA.
Highlights :
1984, Participate in a group exhibition in the Bat Yam City Museum of Art.
1986, Special Invitation to the International Textile Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, to present special achievements at the Gallery Show Area.
1987, Create tapestries based on children’s paintings for the Frankfurt Show.
1988, Invitation to custom make an area rug for the renovated City Museum’s dedication ceremony in Florence, Italy.
2000, Accepted as a resident artist in the Museum of Printing History in Houston, Texas, Participate in group exhibitions and “The month of Av.”
Four color hand lithographs and the B&W litho were selected for the permanent collection of the museum.

Returns and Exchanges

Art must be returned in its original packaging with the certification of authenticity. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and any customs and brokerage fees charged upon return. Before returning the artwork, you must contact us by email to mail@israeliartmarket.com.- From the time you receive your original artwork from the shipper, you have seven days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition and packaging to receive a refund.
- We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within three days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive artwork you've purchased from the Israeli Art Market and are not fully satisfied, you have:
- Seven days to contact us about your intent to return the work
- Three days from the day you contacted us to ship out the artwork
